Sample Receival Assistant

We’re looking for a Sample Receival Assistant to join our team at our head office in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role covering core hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Sample Receival Assistant at Hastings Deering, you will:

• Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
• Unpack and sort samples
• Assign label numbers appropriately
• Register samples including data entry
• Card scanning
• Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance
• Disposal of samples
• Receiving of stock
• Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools and property

What you’ll need:

A successful teammate will have experience in:

• Year 12 qualified
• Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Laboratory experience / exposure to laboratories through study or work (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
